Q: Do I have to enter any details manually?
A: No. Our OCR pulls all the info from the ticket photo. If you prefer, you can still enter the details manually.

Q: Can I dispute a ticket through BUSTED?
A: Yes. BUSTED supports fast, guided disputes in the cities we cover. You submit your dispute in the app, and we send a clear, well-structured appeal through the correct city channel.

Q: How do BUSTED disputes work?
A:

• Upload or snap a photo of your ticket.
• You can add a short note explaining what happened.
• You can upload your own photo evidence, such as missing signs or unclear markings.
• BUSTED generates a clean appeal letter based on your violation type and the details you share.
• We submit the dispute for you.
• You get in app updates and an email when a decision is made.

Q: What kind of evidence can I upload?
A: Anything that helps clarify what happened. This can include photos of the spot, missing or turned signs, faded paint, nighttime visibility issues, or anything else you think is relevant. Your photos are attached to your appeal exactly as you provide them.

Q: How much does disputing a ticket cost?
A: If your ticket is dismissed (e.g. you win!), you pay a 50 percent success fee based on the amount you saved. If the dispute fails, you pay nothing.

Q: Which cities support payments and disputes?
A: Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, and Brookline all support both payments and disputes through BUSTED.

Q: Which cities support payments only?
A: Providence currently supports payments only.

Q: Is BUSTED affiliated with any city or government?
A: No. BUSTED is an independent app built to make dealing with parking tickets much easier.

Q: Is my payment secure?
A: Yes. We partner with Stripe and use standard encrypted, secure payment processing.

Q: How much does BUSTED cost?
A: There is a small convenience fee for ticket payments. For disputes, you save 50% of your ticket cost when you win. You will always see all fees before confirming.

Q: What if the OCR gets something wrong?
A: You can review and edit all ticket details before paying or disputing. Nothing is sent until you confirm it.

Q: Can I use BUSTED for multiple tickets?
A: Yes. You can manage, pay, and dispute multiple tickets in your account.
